As an experienced leader, board director, owner/manager, qualified executive coach, coaching superviser and charity trustee in charities and membership organisations, Julia combines national policy level access and thinking with a deep understanding of specific culture issues and their solutions. Julia’s expertise lies in offering advice and support on board, leadership and organisational development, system leadership, stakeholder engagement, strategy making and governance.
Following 20 years in executive director roles in healthcare/charity sectors at local, system, regional and national level, Julia now has a portfolio of consultancy, NED/Trustee, teaching and coaching roles. Julia is the Managing Director of Zenon Consulting, a boutique people management and development consultancy, Non-Executive Director at the Liaison Group and Senior Teaching Fellow at the University of Greenwich.
Julia currently sits on two Boards – 1. Liaison Group (finance and workforce digital specialist consultancy) where she is strategic adviser and Non-Executive Director. Her key focus is on growth strategy and senior stakeholder engagement. 2. Healthcare People Management Association London Academy, where she is a Founder member and now the Education lead Board member.
From 2010 to 2019, Julia sat on the Board of a Southwark charity, United St Saviours, as Chair of Housing and Chair of Governance. Julia was a Board Trustee at Borough Market, from 2015–2019, where she was the non-executive lead on Learning and Entrepreneurship. Julia was also Chair of Hammersmith and Fulham CAB from 1997-2001.
Julia was co-founder/Chair of CIPD London – the City-wide collaborative of 22,000 CIPD (HR) members, was Chair of CIPD SE Thames and co-founder of the CIPD HR Leaders’ network in SE London. She is a member of the Association of Chairs, Visiting Lecturer at Queen Mary and Westfield and Kings College London and a Fellow of the HE Academy and the RSA.
With an MSc in Strategic HR management and organisational change and as an alumnus of Cranfield’s Business Growth Programme for SME owner/managers, Julia enjoys developing herself and others. She is accredited by Belbin to use their Team Role Preferences tools and is studying for a Diploma in Interior Design and the Level 7 Diploma in Executive Coaching and Mentoring, having qualified as an executive coach in 2020.
Julia coaches leaders in developing their business acumen, political savvy and personal impact as part of her High Impact Leadership model delivery. Her key areas of teaching and design are strategic HRM, organisational change, development and politics and leadership and she has taught at undergraduate, postgraduate and executive levels.
Julia is a columnist in the Health Service Journal, speaks/chairs at conferences on leadership, OD, career development and organisational politics and has written an article on the similarities of OD and the Argentinian Tango. She is passionate about sailing, industrial design and cinema, and is a qualifed swimming teacher.
Julia is also a qualified Coaching Supervisor and is currently on her APECS accreditation journey as Master Practitioner Coach and Supervisor.

Rupert Wainwright

Rupert is a highly experienced and dynamic interim professional since 1997 with Foundation Trust operational Board level experience, private sector project management (Prince 2 qualified) and an information background. He has worked as an associate with Zenon since 2002 and is now a Director.
Rupert has worked with the NHS since 2002, following a career in international airports, City and internet companies. Providing support to the Department of Health, Strategic Health Authorities, Primary Care Trusts and acute Trusts, Rupert’s early roles in the NHS concentrated on analysis and strategic service turnaround.
Key changes have been achieved in each role by working in a robust but friendly way with clinicians so that their agendas and the organisations’ aims can be rapidly achieved.

Marc is the Business Manager at Zenon Consulting and oversees the company's financial reporting, administrative procedures and IT systems. With over 25 years' experience in the field, Marc is Zenon's key contact for all financial or administrative issues. He also supports the team on tenders and sales and marketing.
Additionally, with his background as a BBC scriptwriter and over a decade’s experience as a speech writer, Marc also helps clients with their presentations and speeches assisting with the messaging, narrative, humour and punchiness.
As a Fellow of the CIPD, Linda has considerable experience as a senior HR & OD leader, in a number of unionised, public and private sector organisations. She has worked in retailing, policing, the NHS and in education, most recently teaching on the CIPD programme.
Linda is a fervent advocate of developing people within the workplace, using her Executive coaching qualification in both formal and informal settings. Promoting and leading on Leadership development strategies, including Executive development programmes. OD interventions including a variety of apprenticeship programmes and team-building initiatives are just a few of the people development interventions Linda has facilitated within the NHS.
Linda has a real interest in driving inclusion, previously sitting on the London E & D NHS network, and as part of the Advocates and Allies group, has contributed to improvements and developments, recommending and driving change in this area. Having attended specialist Coaching for Inclusion training, she supports marginalised groups to achieve their potential.
With the ability to work both strategically and tactically, Linda has headed up operational HR and Learning and Development teams, leading change and making impactful improvements. Qualified to administer and interpret a range of psychometric tools, Linda is able to apply these in coaching assignments and in both recruitment and development activities.
Linda is experienced in dealing with the most complex Employee Relations cases. She is expert in investigating and overseeing a wide range of cases including workplace grievances, misconduct, and bullying and harassment. As an experienced and accredited mediator Linda has set up internal mediation services, tirelessly promoting and conducting informal resolutions both face to face and online.
Linda provides pro-bono work for a children’s charity and volunteer work for the CIPD, as an Enterprise Advisor in local schools, and as a member of the Code of Conduct practitioner pool. Part of the HPMA Development Group she has supported the Aspire programmes at every stage and delivers career development workshops for HR in the NHS.

Dan is a facilitator, consultant and actor. He has a huge bank of acting experience across TV, radio and advertising. In addition, he has nearly twenty years of comedy experience as a stand-up doing live and recorded shows. He draws on his improvisation background to help others think on their feet, manage themselves with confidence and communicate with impact.
After reading Modern Languages at Oxford University, Dan trained as an actor at drama school in London. He worked in sales to fund his drama school training and subsequently rose to sales director earning over £1m in new business for a global events company in the oil and gas industry. Following work in business development roles he decided to focus on leadership development and acting as this is where his skills and passion lie.
With a reputation for warmth and challenge, Dan works with all levels of seniority and across a wide variety of sectors. Focusing on leadership development he has worked with senior management at dozens of blue chip companies including Toyota, Morrisons Group, GSK, Novartis, Citibank, Jaguar Land Rover, Capita, Nestlé, Commerzbank amongst many others. He also facilitates leadership development workshops on executive presence, presentation and communications skills for MBA students at the world’s leading business schools including Saïd Business School, Oxford; Judge Business School, Cambridge; Chicago Booth (campuses in London and Chicago); LBS and Cass.
Judith is a highly experienced executive coach, Master NLP Practitioner, facilitator and trainer. She has a reputation for enhancing personal leadership to achieve sustainable, positive results and personal as well as business success. Judith has an extremely varied professional background.
She first gained a reputation for building strong teams in the hotel business in Switzerland and went on to develop and sell 3 businesses of her own. Judith has worked at a strategic level within both small and large organisations. She has first-hand experience of implementing different business models, and is acutely aware of the effects of organisational culture on an individual’s perspective.
Over the last 15 years, Judith has won awards for coaching over 1000 executives and senior management teams in the fields of Health, IT, hospitality, the media, and food manufacturing to achieve goals, improve profitability and productivity and accelerate business growth. She brings energy and passion, introducing a ‘can do’ culture to help managers and leaders get the best from their workforce.
Developing and building new teams is a personal specialism combining increased Entrepreneurial skills and Mental Toughness. Projects include coaching senior executives and directors in several NHS Trusts including St George’s, NHS Newham, NHS Enfield and Mental Toughness Training for Chester Mental Health Trust. She also delivered an executive team development project with South West London and St Georges. The result has been to ensure the successful management of new & challenging roles and increased performance of the Trust. She has also coached a team of directors in a large Outer London Probation Trust to develop the Mental Toughness to develop the Trust despite stringent cuts and increased targets.
