People Management & Development

Zenon Consulting offers considerable depth and breadth in our support to clients in managing and developing people.  In 1998, Zenon was founded by our Managing Director, Julia Tybura, an experienced HR director and OD consultant.  Building on this HR pedigree, Julia has brought in senior and seasoned HR, training and OD associates and directors who, in turn, bring decades of experience in managing and developing people.

We have a large number of HR associates in our network – some are generalists, some are interims, a few of them are trainers or coaches and some specialise in, for example, assessment centre design and delivery, complex and sensitive investigations or remuneration reviews and equal pay audits.  All of them, without exception, are deeply experienced at what they do.  Our clients have been very impressed by our support.

Healthcare Top 100 awards – Zenon Awards go to top NHS organisation, South Essex Partnership University FT and independent care provider, Hayden Mayer Care Home

At the prestigious Healthcare Top 100 awards held at London’s Hilton in Park Lane on 7 July, Zenon were delighted to award South Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust and Hayden Mayer Care Home the two Zenon Top Employers Awards for Performance Management and Development.

NHS
South Essex Partnership University Foundation Trust

SEPT has a well thought out and extensive appraisal system and the Trust is currently appraising around 98% of its staff. Team appraisals help members to appreciate the contribution and skills other members bring to the team.
The Trust’s commitment to staff development is clear. Training and development starts with induction and continues throughout an employee’s career. Development opportunities are offered to those staff in lower bands so they can become assistant practitioners or move above that level. At management level career progression and succession planning are encouraged to enable good managers to progress further.
SEPT were also the overall winner of the Healthcare Top 100 list of organisations.

Independent sector
Hayden Mayer Care Home
Hayden Mayer Care Home employs around 30 employees. The organisation has many policies and procedures in place, which for a small organisation is often difficult to establish. Staff receive annual appraisals and there is good evidence of communication and engagement with staff.
Staff are encouraged to go further with their careers with an emphasis on training and development. Practices are constantly updated and roles reassessed and expanded.

On behalf of everyone at Zenon we congratulate both winners of this award.
